Named after the fierce poet-princess, Zeb-un-Nissa is rendered in royal purple Indian silk, this ensemble is saturated with opulence: silk appliqués, block print, adda embroidery, and mirror shimmer. The choli has full sheer sleeves that are dusted with golden motifs and framed with layered decorative borders in embroidery, sequins, and beads. Its neckline is traced with gold floral vines that curl like verses from a ghazal. The lehenga begins with persian boteh motif, then transitions into slender cypress trees, before bursting into a symphony of circular vines and paisley patterns all block printed in gold and embroidered by hand with sequins, mirror work, and metallic threads. The hemline is wrapped in multiple embroidered borders layered with gota patti and finishing trims.
